iLaw Service Pack 33 - January 2010

Service Pack 33 includes key inclusions to both the Crime and Family modules. The reporting process for the Immigration CMRF has also been updated after recent clarification concerning Detention Travel and Waiting costs.

The Crime Module now includes a report for all Litigators and Advocates Crown Court Graduated Fee Scheme claims. If you have not purchased the GradFees module for producing the advocates claim then only the Litigators Fee Claims will show. The Vat Rate is due to change back to 17.5% on 1st January 2010. You are able to make the necessary changes to your iLaw Case Management, GradFees 3 and iLaw Advocate 2 software in the Vat Rates screen from the Setup option. Users of GradFees version 1 or 2 will need to follow a different procedure.

1. Click on Setup from the main iLaw menu. Then select Vat Rates. When the screen opens make sure that the Standard Vat rate is selected on the left side of the screen. The Vat rates for this rate show in the Stored rates for Tarriff section. There will be two existing rows with the second having an effective date of 01/12/2008 at 15%. The Vat Rate with the most recent effective date will be the Vat Rate the system will use.
